Beliefs
We believe in
One (and only one) living and true God.
He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe.
God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections.
God is all-powerful and all-knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future.
To Him, we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience.
The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Both the true humanity and deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The atonement made on the Cross by our Lord for the sin of the world (NB we reject the false doctrine of universalism).
The person of the Holy Spirit as the One who sets us apart empowers us and imparts spiritual gifts to the Church.
The inspiration of the Bible and it’s authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Salvation is by faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
Membership of the Church is for those who have received salvation.
That full immersion baptism is the Biblical model.
